An lspci command informed me that the pci id of my card is 4318, so I followed the instructions under the "Installing b43 drivers - with internet access" on the ubuntu site from the link I posted.

I began by searching the forums and found a couple threads that were about my card and looked helpful. I am currently on a wired connection and have been trying to set up my wireless PCI adapter in Mint 10 (Julia).
